Match Overview
Four anglers faced strong winds in an early start on the river today to get the best of the tide, but despite the tricky conditions making presentation difficult the fishing was better than expected. Dave Harper came out on top with a nice Chub of 3-1-0 fishing feeder and worm on the up tide to add to his good net of decent Roach and some Perch fishing the pole and bronze maggots. Runner up Nigel Jackson had 6-5-0 of quality Roach and small Chub using whip and also pole with maggots, third went to Steve Pead with a similar net of silvers on waggler and on pole with maggots.
