There were plenty of fish caught on this interclub match with visiting Mike Jolliffe enjoying a busy day landing ten Carp and some silvers for 57-10-0 all on the long pole. Second on the day but winning the Turner Cup was Colin Ryall who caught steadily all day on his favourite method, the whip and maggot for an impressive silver fish net of 20-12-0. Completing the top three was Dave Franks who managed four Carp and some silvers for 20-4-0, the biggest fish of the day went to the other Billingshurst man with a 11-6-0 Carp on the pole. The return leg in a few weeks sees Hassocks needing to do well to pull back nearly 29-0-0.
