This year’s fund raiser saw 11 anglers taking part on a warm, partially sunny day, with Keith Huggins making the most of favoured peg 43 landing a very impressive 140-4-0 to win by a narrow margin of just 10lbs from Colin Ryall also on much-fancied peg 28 with a level 130-0-0. Both anglers fishing short pole with Keith using various baits during the match whereas Colin mainly fished maggot over ground bait, third place went to Ian Thompson on peg 18 who caught late on down the margin to just beat fourth by two ounces with 71-10-0. We would like to thank Rob Harman for the use of the fishery which meant that the match raised £55.00 for the club.
