Match Overview

The second leg of the Herbert Cup produced six double figure weights out of the eight competitors taking part. Top on the day was Colin Ryall who consistently wins at Masons but today he did not rely on silver fish and managed to land five Carp for 26-9-0 and backed this up with just over 5-0-0 of Rudd and Roach. He caught on the pole and the pellet waggler and also lost seven more Carp. Second was Andy Leader who was pegged on the dam, he also had three Carp for 16-15-0 and 5-0-0 of decent Roach all caught on the pole and whip, his Carp falling for sweet corn. Third was John Larouche who was on the car park bank on what used to be known as the boat house swim, he had two Carp caught on paste and meat on the pole for 12-10-0 plus 8-5-0 of silver on the waggler. The overall winner of Cup with 19 points was Colin Ryall.
