On a very bright sunny day the fishing was better than expected with Mike Burkett winning using a method seldom used these days, the swing tip, he landed three sizable Bream, the largest weighing 3-2-0 for his 9-3-0 winning weight. Graham Shinkfield also had a large Bream and a tench in his runner up net of 7-11-0. In third Steve Pead had an all silver fish net for his 5-8-0 getting bites all day.
