Hassocks Senior Summer League | Wildings | April 13th

Match Overview

On a warm sunny day with light breezes,13 anglers took part in the first round of the SNRS Summer league. In the clear lake water, silvers featured with most anglers catching skimmers , bream and some nice perch.

Keith Huggins won with 17 lb 6oz, using a method with ground bait and wafter / washters and firing pellets over the top. Keith picked up a carp , bream and skimmers. In second place Kevin Tree had 12 lb 2oz and some nice bream using a hybrid feeder with soaked pellets and a little ground bait and a small balanced wafter. In third place, was Lew Nightingale with 8 lb 4oz , using a feeder and slowly edging out into the lake to keep in touch with the skimmer bream.
