There are some very deep holes in this stretch as well. All rivers are closed for coarse fishing from 15 March through to the 15 June inclusive.

Location & Access

Access to all parts of the river is across fields. There is a bridge across the old mill stream for the former mill at Shermanbury Place, which has recently been re-built and is wide enough for a trolley.

The banks are quite high and steep in places. Risk of flooding. The field down to the river is also quite steep and very slippery in the wet.
