Match Overview

Seven anglers took part in the winter league match at Canal Lake at More House Farm. The day started with overcast conditions with regular showers through the morning and lunchtime which eventually gateway to sunshine for the last hour. Winner on the day was Norman Cragg fishing on the method with red wafter pellet tight to the far bank, steadily catching through the day. Runner up was Keith Huggins with a variety of methods, starting on the method , then switching to the pole along the pads and then a great hour along the edges with corn over pellets. In third place was Nigel Jackson catching exclusively on paste.
