Wildings Lakes

Brief description of fishery:

Wildings has two fisheries, one lake, and one pond. Both are stocked with Carp, Crucian Carp, Tench, Bream, Perch, Roach, and Rudd. The lake has double-figure Carp up to 30lb (20lb fish are not uncommon) and Tench of over 5lb. The pond also has a good stock of fish and often will produce better weights in matches. The large lake has around 28 pegs and varies from two to six feet in depth. The small lake has 12 pegs and varies from three to six feet. There is a campsite adjacent to the main lake and campers/dogs etc. may be present.

NIGHT FISHING: No night fishing. Fishing is permitted between dawn and dusk only.

Location & Access

There is a padlock on the main gate (see the back of your membership card for the PIN number).

PLEASE NOTE: When parking at Wildings, please follow the signs. In wet weather, it’s not possible to drive down and park near the lake, so you should leave your vehicle at the top and walk down. The causeway between the two lakes is still impassable. This requires major works and we’re liaising with the landowner to try and facilitate this as soon as we can. Thanks for your co-operation.
