Brief description of fishery:
Badgers Wood lake is an excellent purpose-built fishery opened in 2016 for Hassocks Angling members, designed for fishing throughout the year and ease of access. Badgers Wood is feature-rich water with two islands, reeds, and variations in depth. Stocked with Barbel, Tench, Crucian Carp, Roach, Bream, and Perch.
NIGHT FISHING: Night fishing is permitted – please follow the rules at the top of the Our Waters page.
Location & Access
Badgers Wood is suitable for disabled access and has five specially designed pegs for wheelchair users. The car park is just yards from the lake allowing easy access. The path around the lake is level, flat and grassed. There is a padlock on the main gate (see the back of your membership card for the PIN number).
Please note: There is a height barrier of two metres at the front gate of the fishery.
