Match Overview

Due to the weather the match was moved from the river to Haywards Heath Vale Bridge mill pond. Four turned out for the rearranged venue on what was a difficult day and the match was a walk off rather than drawn pegs. Steve Pead came out on top with four fish from his four bites, two Carp and two Bream all caught on the method feeder and yellow wafter for 16-1-0 and an easy victory. Second went to Rowland Smith who managed two skimmers from his two bites of the day, one on worm and cage feeder with chopped worm and the other on the method feeder and orange wafter weighing in 3-4-0.
