Top on the day was Fabian fishing from peg seven for Seaford, the former feeder international fished very light method feeders all day for his 77-14-0 using wafters which gave him a steady run of fish throughout the match whilst others struggled. Second went to Hassocks angler Ian Thompson from the field bank on peg 25 who managed just under 70-0-0 fishing method feeder and pole. Third also representing Seaford was Gary Mason who was on the next peg from Ian with 53-7-0 catching on pole and paste. Hassocks retained the Dick Herrington Cup against Haywards Heath comparing the top three from each team on the day with Hassocks weighing 96-3-0 compared to Haywards Heath having 20-5-0.
