For second summer league seniors match in a row two anglers broke the ton this time on Sidewinder. Keith Huggins drew one of the favoured pegs, twenty-eight, to win the match by just over ten pounds weighing in an impressive 144-2-0. Catching from the off Keith started with paste on the pole at two plus two before going down both margins; he changed to corn when his paste ran out and towards the end of the match his catch rate improved, he finished the day with only one rig left and short on bait. Nigel Jackson for the second match in a row at More House had another weight over 130-0-0 on paste all day from another favourite peg, fifty. only to finish runner up – he must try harder! Third from peg thirty eight was the winner of the last match Stewart Morton, he started on the feeder and caught steadily before trying the pole but found that the silver fish were a problem so he went back on the feeder a weighed in a respectable 77-8-0.
