Match Overview

The fourth round match was held on a day of heavy rain and strong breezes. The carp were definitely feeding but in tight balls in specific areas. Winner Steve Pead certainly found carp in his peg with a great net of 68lb 2oz. Runner up Lew Nightingale was fishing opposite Steve and Lew netted 61lb for second place. Keith Huggins pipped Nigel Jackson into third place with 55lb 11oz, but both anglers landed a 11lb plus carp each.

 Considering the recent weather, this match saw some great weights and almost 300lb carp caught.
