Match Overview

Following some last minute drop outs leaving only three anglers fishing the match, it proved to be great fishing for all the anglers despite the brisk NE wind and bright conditions. The match was fished from the wall section and all the anglers had bites throughout the day, fishing feeders at 36m. It was fish for fish with nobody really taking the lead and come the weigh-in all had around 40 skimmers from 4oz to 1 1/2 lb. Just taking the win was Tony Morris with 27 lb 14oz with Colin Ryall ounces behind with 27 lb 2oz and Jerry Morgan with 24 lb 14oz.
