Match Overview

On a very blustery day 17 anglers took part in the second leg of the interclub match against Seaford. Top weight on the day went to Seaford man Jason Welfare off of fancied golden peg 5, he landed four Carp but lost six for his winning 26-14-0 all on method feeder. Second also went to Seaford with Dave Hughes landing a last-ditch Carp to go with the one he landed in the first half an hour for his 13-15-0 net. Third was Steve Pead fishing for Hassocks who fished for silver fish most of the day on the short pole with maggot but had the last 15 minutes for Carp on the method feeder and managed to nick one to weigh in 12-15-0. Seaford recorded 70-7-0 for their top seven men with Hassocks only managing a level 45-0-0 so a comfortable win for Seaford.
