Match Overview
A much warmer day greeted a full house for this weekend’s match, but unfortunately the fishing was not easy with several anglers not troubling the scales. Coming out on top with four reasonable Skimmers and a few silvers and showing the men how it should be done was Tina Larouche for 12-8-0 all on pole and maggots. Second with a level 10-0-0 was Colin Ryall on favoured peg 13 with two Skimmers and Tench, the largest Skimmer weighing 3-7-0 also on pole and maggots. Third was Keith Huggins on the other fancied peg 3 with 9-7-0 which consisted of the biggest fish on the day a 4-7-0 Bream a decent Tench and a smaller Skimmer plus some small silvers also falling to pole and maggots.
