Match Overview
The first leg of the Charlie Skinner Cup was a very wet match which resulted in most of the vehicles having to be towed back up the track at the end of the match by Colin Skeel and his four-wheel truck. Fortunately for us Ted Odell had a tow rope in his car.
Colin won the match from peg 17 landing a Carp of 12-13-0 in the first hour on yellow wafter adding 3-9-0 of small silver fish for his 16-6-0. Runner up Mark Waite on peg 20 had a Tench of 3-9-0 and a nice net of silvers for 10-2-0 all on the pole and maggot. Third was Rowland Smith on peg 12 with several nice skimmers and Roach on method and wafters for 9-2-0.
