Match Overview

A bright breezy day greeted a poor turnout for this inter club fixture with only two anglers from the host club Southdown and two from Hassocks. Despite this the fishing was good with the winner, Pete Stradwick landing a 3-8-0 Tench in his 7-3-12 and a Perch of 1-8-0 using five metre whips with dead pinkie and also chopped worm. Second was Steve Pead with a mixed silver fish catch mainly using four metre whip with double maggot. Third was Rowland Smith just over three ounces adrift on 6-4-12 fishing whip, waggler and feeder using maggots and worms. On the day Hassocks came out on top by just over 2-12-0 ounces.
