We’re still having an issue with damaged padlocks. It’s not clear whether this is happening because members are having difficulty with codes and becoming frustrated or whether these are acts of vandalism by non-members trying to fish for free.

Either way, we’re having to replace another set of broken padlocks with new ones which is obviously expensive and shouldn’t be necessary. If you see someone having difficulty with a padlock, try to ascertain if they’re a member and if they are, offer to help; if they’re not members, point out – politely – that this is a club water and that they shouldn’t be trying to gain access.
