Weir Wood Reservoir

Brief description of fishery:

The fishery is a 280-acre drinking water supply reservoir with depths of up to 30 feet. It offers fantastic year-round fishing in beautiful surroundings with large catches of roach, bream, and perch possible from the bank; boat fishing is also available.
All methods can be successful with a waggler, slider, pole, and feeder fishing all producing fish on their day. The pike fishing can be exceptional with large specimens landed each year. The carp are neglected by many anglers so would be a good species to target as well!
Please note the following:
Members can fish from 7.30am until dusk all year round but note that the fishery does occasionally host matches and the water is a shared facility with other angling clubs, so at times may have a restricted choice of swims. There is strictly no access before 7.30am.

Please telephone the fishery in advance to avoid disappointment. Full information about the fishery including its rules and contact details can be found on the Weir Wood Fishery website.
