Match Overview

The first match of the new season had a tremendous turnout for the first leg of the Decoy Cup with seventeen hoping for a few bites, and most were not disappointed. Taking the honours was Colin Ryall on peg nine landing five Carp on the method feeder for 23-1-0 before switching to the pole to catch 12-2-0 of silvers for a combined total of 35-3-0. Second was Dave Larby from peg 1, he fished the method feeder all day with wafters for Six Carp and fell less than 2-0-0 short,weighing in 33-7-0. Third was Hugh Neatherway from consistent peg 26 with four Carp for just under 20-0-0 on the method feeder backing it up with just over 3-0-0 of silvers for his 23-5-0.
