A good turnout for this inter-club match, the river fished poorly with the weights being a lot lower than expected. The winner Mike Joliffe had two good Bream for his 9-14-0 on pole and maggot from the end peg. Second Norman Cragg had one Bream and an Eel on feeder and maggot. Third place Mike Kitchener had one Bream for his 5-14-0 from the other end peg. The wind was quite strong and slightly gusty which may have caused issues with presentation for some of the anglers on some pegs which may have been a explanation for the poor weights.
