Match Overview

A blustery day with sunshine and showers set the scene for 15 anglers who took part in this friendly between Hassocks and Seaford at More House Fishery’s Sidewinder lake. With low Hassocks numbers it was decided to run the match of three sections. Top weight on the day was Trevor Hoad for Seaford who fished a feeder in the “wides” to convincingly win his section with an impressive 119lb 11oz. Dave Hughes also with Seaford fishing peg 17 fished long pole to island and then both margins to win his section with 105 lb 2oz. Seaford’s winning day was completed with Dave Larby who won his section from peg 10 with 69lb 11oz from the popular “roadside” stretch.
