Ben Cooke once again weighed in more than 100-0-0 fishing long pole to the island on probably the best peg on Heron (7) and short down the edge with meat to easily win fishing for Hassocks in the latest interclub match with Pulborough. Second was Tim Brightey, also fishing for Hassocks, he was on Canada and managed 68-14-0 fishing pole on corner peg 25. Third was Pulborough man Ian John with 57-8-0 on peg 17 on Heron which was end peg on the opposite bank. On the day Hassocks ran out convincing winners by over 210-0-0 with 530-0-0 being landed between the fourteen anglers who took part.
