Decoy bounced back from the previous match with nearly all the fifteen taking part taking double figures to the scales. Coming out on top this week with the best weight so far this season was Ben Cooke from peg 7. He worked out early on that the Carp were not feeding on the method feeder with most anglers struggling, so he turned to the pellet waggler fished close to the pads to pick up seven Carp before fishing down the edge to land eight larger Carp on meat or worm for his 91-5-0 and a comfortable win. Second was Cliff Prophet from end peg 36 with just under 41-0-0. He caught on the method feeder and various colours of wafters fishing to the swamp bank, unfortunately he lost as many to snags. Filling third place was Mark Curtis from the peg next to winner Ben peg 9 he landed six Carp all on the method feeder for a level 25-0-0.
