Match Overview

The first of the leg of the Victory cup saw four take on a high river on a damp dreary day where bites yet again proved difficult which has been the norm on most venues of late. Nigel Jackson was the only one to manage to find a few bites catching ten very small Roach and Gudgeon for a dismal winning weight of two ounces which he had on waggler and white maggots. Darren, Steve and Hugh all gave the cut behind the river the last hour or so a quick go and they all caught fish but as this was not in the match they did not count. On the next leg it will be optional whether you choose to fish either.
