Match Overview

Five anglers took part in the first round of the SNRS Winter league. Initially the weather was overcast with light wind. By lunchtime the sun shone, but winds increased, maintaining a ripple on the water. No carp were landed, but a good number of skimmers, bream and nice perch were caught.

Kevin Tree maintains his form with a winning net of 11 lb 11oz, of skimmers and bream on the tip. Nigel Jackson opted for a pole session which netted him a second place with 9lb 3oz. Steve Pead picked up third place with 8lb 7oz including an eel from end peg 22.
