Match Overview

The final leg of the summer series saw eight anglers take part in the pleasant autumn sun and light breezes.

Clear winner with an outstanding bag of 13 bream and three tench was Kevin Tree pole fishing worm bait with a chopped worm and worm based ground bait to reach a very impressive 37lb, which may well be a match record for this water. Runner up was Norman Cragg with a bag of silvers to total 7lb 13 oz. In third place was David Harper with 7lb 9oz with a small tench and roach on whip, waggler and pole using caster bait.

Series winner was Kevin Tree with 70 points, Steve Pead was second with 62 points and David Harper was third with 61 points. Congratulations to Match and Series winner Kevin Tree.
