The latest interclub match saw a neck and neck contest between Hassocks anglers on peg 7 and peg 8 with Dave Franks just edging it on 8 with a level  54-0-0 on feeder and pole. He landed 8-0-0 of skimmers on worm and 46-0-0 of Carp, runner up was Darren Chillcot who unfortunately was knocked back 1-12-0 because he was over the net limit which actually cost him first place. He managed just over  2-0-0 of skimmers and nearly 52-0-0 of Carp alternating between pole and feeder with pellets. Third on the day was Pulborough man and match organiser Barry Ginnaw with 32-9-8 of mainly Carp and just over 4-0-0 of skimmers using paste and pellets on pole and feeder. On the day Hassocks managed to avenge the heavy defeat that they had last year in beating Pulborough by over 66-0-0 combining the weights of the top six anglers in each team.
