Match Overview

On one of the warmest days of the year the latest interclub match against Billingshurst saw 16 anglers braving the weather on the river Arun, and it threw up some good weights. The top three were all Billingshurst anglers. Top on the day was Mick Jolliffe who managed 31-0-0, six Bream and a Tench all on the pole with corn. Second went to Darren Wingate with 18-14-0 with a bonus 6-0-0 Carp to go with his Bream also caught on corn. Completing the top three was Terry Harrison who had four Bream using pole and feeder with maggots and worms. On the day local knowledge proved invaluable as Billingshurst showed us the way beating our top three by just under 34-0-0, but an enjoyable day was had by all.
