Match Overview
The Benevolent Cup was won by Lew Nightingale who managed to land a bonus third Carp with five minutes left for his 20-11-0 from peg 15 fishing pole down the edge with maggot. Steve Pead was runner up with four Carp landed in the first ninety minutes from peg 26 all on popped up bread on the bomb. Third place was Dave Harper on peg 36 with two Carp for 12-1-0. One landed on wafter and the second on the pole in the left margin on maggot. In total fifteen Carp were landed on the day and considering the temperature of late that is better than some of the returns at More House Farm.
