Three anglers turned out to contest the Society Cup on a chilly day, victory went to Dave Harper who landed thirty-three small Roach on the long whip and mainly pinkie for his 0-15-0. Second went to Nigel Jackson who fished the stream after not having a bite for three hours in the main river, he also fished the whip with maggot and pinkie for a slightly better stamp of fish for his 0-10-0. Steve Pead trotted the waggler all day with bread punch and pinkie landing fifteen small Roach for his 0-6-0 for third on the day.
