Match Overview

With overcast, breezy and late rain to finish, conditions seemed to suit the fish, with a good general catch including good carp, tench, bream and skimmers and a couple of eels as well as the smaller roach and rudd. Winner on the day with a late carp of 11lb 7oz to join his other carp was Lew Nightingale, who ended up with 19lb fishing a feeder to the far bank marks. Runner up with a decent mixed bag was Steve Pead with a catch of 17lb 12oz and in third place also with a late and largest carp of the day at 11lb 14oz helped Adrian Bell reach a catch of 15lb 13oz.
