Pickwells Lakes

Pickwells has two lakes both in beautiful surroundings, containing Tench, Crucians, Roach, Rudd, Perch and a few Carp. The lower lake has a good stock of Tench and Rudd with water depths of up to 3 metres. The top lake is known for skimmers, Perch and good Roach.

Access

From the car park there is a gentle walk down hill to the lower lake, although the ground near the lake is nearly always soft. The upper lake is a short walk from the lower lake, but you will need to climb up a steep bank to reach the upper lake.

Safety

The bank leading to the upper lake is very steep, even though it has steps cut into it, the bank is still very hazardous to climb especially in the wet.
