River Ouse

River Ouse

This is a tidal stretch of river with all the usual species, flow and depth can vary considerably making this one of the more interesting places to fish.

Target species are the roach and then the bream using maggot or worm. Pole, stick float or feeder have their day due to the tide conditions.

There are a lot of dace and very small chub which can be picked off the surface with a light waggler and feed plenty of maggots or pinkies to keep them in your swim. Plenty of feed is required if you intend to target the bream.
