Masons is a large shallow lake with a silt bottom and a depth of no more than one metre. Most noted for the quality of it's roach and rudd. Masons also has a good head of wild carp that pound for pound, will fight harder than most other carp.
Carp are good to go for on strong tackle, pole or waggler near reeds, method in middle. Good roach on the waggler a short way out, all baits work.
If the carp are proving difficult, you can bag up waggler fishing for roach and rudd from certain swims but keep the feed going in.
